On April 16, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland tabled the federal budget aimed at providing “a fair chance to build a good middle-class life” by focusing on building more affordable housing, introducing programs to cut daily living costs and focusing on economic growth.
